New Process for Contingent I and Contingent II Contracts
Beginning today, a change to the way contracts are submitted for Contingent I and Contingent II employment will be implemented. This update will allow for a more efficient process, in that you will no longer be required to submit contracts to the Office of Human Resources for Contingent I and Contingent II initial appointments, or Contingent I renewals. Instead, contracts for Contingent I and Contingent II initial appointments and Contingent I renewals will be executed and signed through Taleo. This new process is not applicable to secondary employment and there will be no change to the Contingent II renewal process.
Please note that it is extremely important that you ensure that the information entered on the requisition for your Contingent I and/or Contingent II contract is accurate since the start date, contract ending date, job description, salary, FTE, etc., reflected on the employee’s contract will be pulled directly from the requisition.
