Next week: new look for Duo authentication prompts when logging into TU systems
Starting on June 13, when logging into university systems through Single Sign-on, faculty and staff will notice the required Duo authentication prompt has a new and modern look. Duo devices can still be managed through towson.edu/netid.
About the project
This update is the next step following the January 2023 change to Microsoft 365 logins. The overall effort modernizes TU’s Single Sign-On (SSO) process, enhances security capabilities, improves the digital experience and streamlines systems and lays the foundation for future Duo enhancements.
What to expect
The steps are the same as they are now: you’ll be prompted for login with your TU credentials and sent a Duo prompt. The screen will look a bit different but the experience will be intuitive.
