BFSA Juneteenth Cook-in & Spades Tournament
We are excited to announce this year’s Cook-in & Spades Tournament. Saturday, June 17th from 4-7 pm, we will gather in the Union for food, fun, and games. The event is free and all are welcome. You and your favorite Spades partner may enter the tournament with a $30 per team contribution to the Barnes Harris Endowment – a scholarship fund named for TU’s first Black graduates and supports students’ academic endeavors on campus. Winners get bragging rights and a prize! The last tournament’s winning team was from Johns Hopkins. We look forward to seeing who takes home the crown this year!
Never learned to play Spades? No worries! We will have a Learn 2 Play station for those who want to learn the game, which has become strongly associated with our culture!
If you plan to attend the event and/or the tournament, please see event details and RSVP here by June 12th: https://bit.ly/TUBFSA2023. Feel free to share with colleagues, families, and friends.
