Brief Campus Power Outage This Weekend

A very brief campus power outage is scheduled for 4 a.m. this Friday, March 24th to facilitate work in TU’s central plant.  Power will be immediately restored and there should be no impact to normal operations.  As a precaution, we ask that Building Coordinators please ask occupants in the building to save any work and turn off their personal computers before leaving the building the night before.  The following buildings may be impacted:

  • Power plant
  • CLA
  • Glen Dining
  • Glen Tower D
  • Hawkins/ Psychology/ Lecture Hall
  • Linthicum Hall
  • Media Center
  • Prettyman/ Scarborough
  • Residence Tower
  • Richmond Hall/ Newell Hall
  • Old Smith Hall
  • Van-Bokkelen Hall
  • Burdick New Electric Room
  • Baseball Storage
  • Public Safety
  • Science Complex
  • 7800
  • University Union
  • Calf Shed/ North Side Stadium
  • Towson Center
  • Field house
  • Hazmat
