Campus Race to Zero Waste – Food Recovery
Did you know TU’s Food Recovery Network (FRN) chapter has recovered and donated over 30,000 pounds of food since 2014? Almost 10,000 pounds were recovered in 2022 alone. If you haven’t heard, FRN works with dining locations across campus to collect food that will otherwise be disposed of and donate it to local groups who distribute the food to those in need.
