Please join Dean Chris J. Chulos’ third Democracy Today Roundtable event where a panel of expert CLA professors will discuss “Democratization and the Arab Spring: Achievements, Setbacks, Challenges”
As anti-government protests spread from Tunisia throughout much of the Arab world in 2010 and 2011, politicians and journalists watched for signs of lasting political change. This roundtable will consider the achievements, setbacks, and challenges in the decade since the initial protests in what became known as the “Arab Spring.”
