Fall Move Out 2022
In just a few short weeks, the fall term will be over. It’s time to think about the upcoming Fall Move-Out. Be aware of the increase in pedestrian traffic near and around the residence halls as students move out for the winter break. Please abide by the guidelines below for Fall Move-Out:
- Designated “Move-out” spaces will be located near each residence hall.
- Vehicles may only be parked in “Move-out” spaces for a maximum of 30 minutes. A permit is not required while parked in a “Move-out” space. However, once vehicles are loaded, vehicles must be moved to a legal parking space based on the individual’s permit type.
- All vehicles must be parked in a legal space. At no time is any vehicle permitted to park in fire lanes, in a roadway, on sidewalks, on grass, or otherwise reserved space (even for a few minutes).
- Only vehicles displaying both a state-issued accessible license plate/placard and a valid TU parking permit may be parked in accessible spaces.
The walkway in West Village, by way of Lot 1, will be open to vehicles for loading on the following days:
– Saturday, December 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– Monday, December 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– Tuesday, December 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please ensure all items are moved out of your room prior to bringing your vehicle to the walkway. The walkway is for loading purposes only, 15 minutes is allotted for vehicles to be loaded and moved. If you need more than 15 minutes to load, please park your vehicle in the garage when moving out.
The walkway will be closed on Sunday, November 18. As a reminder, Millennium Hall parking spaces are restricted to Millennium Hall permit holders. Those improperly parked are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Please follow the directions of posted signs and on-duty staff.
If you have questions or concerns, please visit the Parking & Transportation Services website. You may also contact the PTS office directly at 410-704-PARK select option #1, uPark@towson.edu, or through our online parking chat.
