Timesheet Accuracy
Staff/Faculty – There has been an increase in timesheet errors due to employee’s selecting the wrong pay code and the timesheet being approved with the wrong pay code.
If you are using a pay code other than REG, please take a moment to ensure you have selected the correct pay code! You should only select an accrual (sick, annual, etc.) that you earn and have in balance (check your timesheet dashboard before using an accrual).
Supervisors – you can assist our Payroll Department by reviewing the timesheet for accuracy before approving. Your employee should not be using any accrual they do not earn, this includes Administrative Leave, Advanced Sick Leave, Accident Leave. Approving timesheets with the wrong pay code creates errors that must then be corrected by the Payroll Department.
