Join the TU Writing Center for a practical, hands-on discussion about multimodal pedagogy. “Multimodal” refers to the ways in which contemporary texts fuse and blend the modes of alphabetic writing, video, image, and sound to create rhetorical appeal. In a workshop for beginners, we’ll provide an overview of multiliteracy theory, introduce faculty to the basics of multimodal pedagogy, and share sample assignments, assessment techniques, and teaching resources. Lunch will be provided.
