A Call To Action: Escape the Cape!
Tasha M. Wilson will be one of the speakers for the upcoming USM 2022 Professional Development Week – Empower Your Journey: Unleash Your Potential. It is a virtual and free conference that will run from October 17-21. The name of Tasha’s workshop is “Escape the Cape, “™ where she will lead an interactive discussion on leadership development and emotional wellness. Her session will empower individuals to minimize the pressure to perform and maximize the moment to produce. It will challenge participants to break barriers, dismantle myths of professional development and refocus the lens of what leadership entails.
Tasha Wilson joined the Office of Inclusion and Institutional Equity in December 2021. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, a Master’s in Education from Towson University, and a Master’s in Social Work from Morgan State University. Tasha is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
Outside of her role in OIIE, Tasha is an International Best-Selling Author and Speaker who currently serves as a member of the RAINN (Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network) Speakers Bureau. She was featured in VoyageBaltimore Magazine as one of Baltimore’s Most Inspiring Stories and in Woman to Woman International Network, Inc.
