Shuttle Changes for Fall 2022
TU shuttle routes have been streamlined to provide more direct and frequent service during the fall semester. The following routes have been discontinued as a result of low usage and/or to avoid overlap with existing MTA and Baltimore County routes:
Discontinued Shuttle Routes
- York/Fairmount – use the Baltimore County Loop as an alternate
- Timonium/Cockeysville – use MTA route #93 as an alternate
- Lachlan Circle – use the Goucher Route on TU’s off-campus shuttle
- Tiger in Town – use the Baltimore County Loop as an alternate
Shuttle Service Resumes
The Gold route began service on August 22. SafeRide will be available from midnight to 7 a.m. and can be requested by calling 410-704-RIDE. Regular shuttle services resume on Monday, August 29. The Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle will run from August 29 to December 17, 2022, providing service from TU to other local colleges and destinations, including the Towsontown Center and midtown Baltimore.
More shuttle information will be posted on TUTigerride.com. You can also download the TURide app to receive regular and timely shuttle updates. For additional information about shuttle service, visit the Parking & Transportation Services website or contact the office at 410-704-4101 or email uride@towson.edu.
