TU Foundation’s New Way to Submit Electronic Disbursement Forms through PaperSave!
Effective July 1, 2022
The TU Foundation office is pleased to announce the rollout of PaperSave, the new fully electronic and automated process for submitting Disbursement Request Forms to the TU Foundation.
As of July 1, 2022, PaperSave EDRF’s will be required, and paper/email submissions will no longer be accepted. Please note, the PaperSave process does not replace the TU ACH Reimbursement process. That procedure remains unchanged and TU reimbursement requests should not be submitted via PaperSave.
PaperSave is a web-based system that can be accessed anywhere you are – whether working in the office or working remotely. Any TU faculty or staff member can submit a disbursement by logging into the PaperSave system and authenticating with their TU credentials. No new usernames or passwords required!
Once a submitter has completed an EDRF in PaperSave, the submitter must select an Approver (Program Director or Alternate Program Director) from a drop-down list to approve the submission. Note: To avoid delays in processing, please confirm that your selected approver is available to approve your request.
The submitter must also scan and attach PDF documents to serve as the supporting documentation. Once the form has been submitted, two things will happen: (1) an electronic copy of the completed form and scanned supporting documentation will be automatically sent to the submitter’s Towson email for their records and (2) the EDRF will be automatically routed via email for approval to the Program Director that the submitter selected.
PaperSave will notify approvers via their Towson email each morning if there is an EDRF requiring their review and approval. Each email will contain a “clickable” link that will take approvers to PaperSave. In the event an EDRF requires immediate attention, approvers do not have to wait for the automated email the next morning. They can log directly into PaperSave via the link on our TU Foundation website to review and approve EDRF’s. Once the approver reviews and approves the EDRF, it will be routed electronically through the remainder of the TU Foundation’s internal workflow and approval process.
Our office has created two training videos to assist both submitters and approvers in utilizing our new PaperSave process. The two training videos, one for submitters and one for approvers, are also available on our TU Foundation website.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to any member of the TU Foundation staff. We appreciate your cooperation!
