TU Corporate Communication in London, UK
Study corporate and strategic communication in London with Towson University. This course provides an analysis of corporate communication strategies in the UK used in developing internal and external communication plans. The UK’s role as a significant global economic environment will be examined. Guest lectures will be presented by experts in public relations, marketing, organizational communication, advertising, media, and politics.
The program is based in London, one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan cities in the world and home to more than 7.7 million residents. With music and sports venues, art galleries, theaters, museums, and shops, this city has something for everyone. Program highlights include a West End theatre performance, visits to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, a day trip to Bath and Stonehenge, and a flight on the London Eye.
Participants will choose among COMM 494 Study Abroad (3 credits), MCOM 479 Special Topics in Mass Communication (3 credits), and MCOM 670 Special Topics in Mass Communication (3 credits; grad only) with Professor Jenny Atwater.
