Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join President Schatzel for the Union Grand Opening Celebration – Phase One on Thursday, April 7! The event will feature a brief program and ribbon-cutting in the Food Market, followed by an ice cream bar, giveaways, and tours of the building.

The Brand New U’s transformation revamps the old and creates new space for students, faculty and staff. TU’s hub of student life now features double the space for student activities and organizations, a 300-seat auditorium, new Food Market, the relocated and expanded Career Center, and a 15,000-square-foot ballroom. Phase two, slated for completion in Fall 2022, will renovate the original building to update Paws Café and provide new homes for Student Life, Civic Engagement, and more.
