Join the Hill-Lopes Scholars Program and TU Alumna Charmaine Nganje for a Women in STEM Wednesday Career Chat about her experience as a Clinical Research Associate. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Towson University in 2016, she then completed a post-baccalaureate program at Tufts University in the Immunology department. Currently, Charmaine is a researcher at Gritstone bio, a clinical-stage biotech creating therapeutic cancer vaccines. She has a passion for improving how Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is incorporated into biotech practices and has started a D&I group at her current company. Charmaine is the co-founder of the group Scientists in Solidarity, which addresses the need for a community that supports BIPOC in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
