Faculty: Help TU students to lower their education costs. Apply for a FACET Open Educational Resources (OER) Initiative Mini-grant

Students need our help in keeping their education costs low. One way you can contribute is to develop and use Open Educational Resources (OER), which are free to your students. Consistent with the Provost’s Course Materials Task Force, FACET is pleased to offer mini-grants to faculty for exploration or adoption/adaptation of OER for their classes. In addition to the mini-grants, recipients receive support and mentoring from the TU OER Community of Practice (CoP), which has received and will continue the work of the task force.

Access the grant application. The application deadline is November 1, 2021. If you have questions, please contact us: FACET@towson.edu

Join us at a workshop to finalize your mini-grant application to explore or develop open educational resources (OER).

In support of this call for proposals, the OER Community of Practice will offer a workshop at 2:00 p.m. on October 26 in CK 404B. This workshop can also be attended virtually. We will send an announcement about this workshop along with a registration link in a future TU Today post.
