Flu Shot Clinic Today – Update – Change of Location
Every year, and especially this year, TU encourages our entire community to get vaccinated for the flu. Limited appointments are available on six select days between Oct. 13- Nov. 2 at various campus locations.
Please note: Some appointment locations have changed. Appointments on Wednesday, October 13, will now take place in the University Health Center ground floor conference room. Appointments on Tuesday, November 2, will now be conducted at SECU Arena, Multipurpose Room 305. All appointments previously scheduled are still valid, just at a new location. Many appointments are still available.
TU is pleased to partner with Safeway Pharmacy to offer the annual flu vaccine again this year in support of community health on campus. In addition to mandated COVID-19 vaccinations, flu vaccines are critical to protecting all Tigers this flu season. All faculty and staff are encouraged to schedule an appointment – many appointments are still available.
Faculty and staff should be prepared to provide insurance information at their appointment.
Additionally, as part of this special vaccine opportunity TU is offering Pfizer COVID-19 booster vaccinations to all Pfizer vaccinated faculty and staff who are recommended for boosters per CDC guidance. Proof of prior Pfizer vaccination will be required. Faculty and staff can also schedule a booster vaccination with their preferred provider/pharmacy or at vaccines.gov.
