IEW Call for Student Org Proposals
Is your student group interested in celebrating International Education Week?
The Office of International Initiatives is pleased to call for proposals from students, faculty and staff for International Education Week (IEW) 2021. This joint initiative from the US Departments of Education and State highlights new and continuing international activities on campus that prepare our students for our global society and attract future leaders from abroad to the United States. It will take place from November 15 to 19, 2021.
In past years, Towson University has welcomed internationally focused journalists, diplomats, musicians and more. Departments and student organizations have held panel discussions, screened films, and hosted global sporting events. IEW programs can be small in scale or invite large audiences. The key component is broad support from campus partners.
We would love you to participate by proposing a program/event. Your organization may already have an internationally-minded program planned for this time frame. We would be happy to help you promote it by including it in the schedule.
Note: International Initiatives cannot assist with funding proposed events for IEW.
