U.S. Passport Processing Delays

TU students, faculty and staff planning upcoming international travel should be aware processing times for U.S. passports are significantly delayed. Expedited processing is currently taking several months. If you need to obtain a passport for the first time or renew one that has expired for upcoming travel, be sure to plan accordingly. Applications and instructions to apply for or renew your passport along with additional information on anticipated processing times is available at travel.state.gov. If you are not a U.S. citizen, please check with the consular services division at your local embassy/consulate for passport processing wait times and procedures.
