Parking Information for 2021 Football Season

Parking & Transportation Services would like to notify the campus community about game day parking as we get ready for the upcoming 2021 Football season.

  • Lot Closures: All lots around the stadium (Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 8a) will close six hours prior to kickoff. The interior of Lot 8 will close the evening before.  For Homecoming (October 16, 2021), all lots will close the evening before (October 15, 2021).  Lots will open four hours prior to kickoff for parking.
  • Parking: Game Day parking permits will be required to park in Lots 6, 7, 8 and Osler Medical Center. Unauthorized vehicles remaining in the area are subject to citations and towing at the owner’s expense. Lots 4, 5 and all core campus garages and non-residential lots will be available for general parking four hours prior to kickoff.  Game day permits are not required for these areas. Parking will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Once the general parking lots 4 and 5 (near the stadium) are full, general parkers will be redirected to the Union Garage.
  • Tailgating: Tailgating will be allowed in designated areas only and must be in accordance with established tailgating policies.  No tailgating is permitted in any garages.
  • Tents: Due to safety concerns, no tents are allowed in Lot 5. Tents are permitted in other areas as outlined in the tailgating policies.  Tents must be secured with a weighting system (no stakes) and can’t be placed in a parking space or blocking traffic flow in drive lanes.
  • Transportation: Paratransit service is available for individuals with mobility needs. Services will be available four hours prior to kickoff through one hour after the game ends. There will be no Gold route service provided to the Lot 5 shuttle stop four hours prior to kickoff through one hour after the game ends. Gold route shuttles will otherwise operate on a normal schedule.  Service for the stadium area will only be available from the Towson Center/Lot 8 bus slip.

Please follow the direction of posted signs and staff.  For additional information, please visit the Parking & Transportation Services website or call the office at 410-704-PARK select option #1.
