Free Parking Ends Soon on 8/31/21
Please be advised that regular parking enforcement resumed on Monday, Aug. 2, 2021 at 6 a.m. As the university gears up for the start of the regular term, vehicles parked on campus must be in the appropriate parking area based on the associated permit.
The new 2021/2022 academic year permits were valid on campus beginning August 2. There is no charge for permits for August 2021.
Effective Sept. 1, 2021, parking permit fees will be charged for the 2021/2022 academic year.

As a reminder, please read all signs to avoid parking in the wrong area for your permit.
- Faculty/Staff please look for red & black signage and park in Faculty/Staff parking spaces at Union, Towsontown, Glen and West Village garages and Lots 1, 3, 9, 10, 14 & 19. Public Safety permits are valid in F/S lots and lot 12. General Services permits are valid in F/S lots and lot 13.
- Commuter students with Core Permits must park in designated core spaces at the Union, Towsontown or Glen Garages, with green and black on the signs. Core permit holders can also park where Overflow signs read “All TU Permits are Valid” at the stadium lots (Lot 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) located near the SECU Arena/Johnny Unitas Stadium area.
- Commuter students with Overflow Permits will be permitted to park in designated areas of the Stadium lots (lot 4, 5, 6 ,7 & 8) located near the SECU Arena/Johnny Unitas Stadium area, where signs read Overflow in which “All TU Permits are Valid”.
- Resident students with Resident Permits must park in designated resident spaces on campus.
- Freshman Resident students, with less than 30 units earned, are not permitted to purchase any permit or have a car on campus unless a special exception has been granted.
- Weekly or monthly permit users are only permitted to park in the overflow parking areas of the stadium lots (Lot 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8) where all permits are valid.
Remember, you must have a valid TU permit to park on campus Mondays through Thursdays 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Fridays 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. Posted signs take priority over any printed or website information.
