Q. Who is eligible for the Juneteenth administrative leave day?
A. All regular and contingent faculty, staff, and student employees who are scheduled to work on June 18th are eligible for the administrative leave day.
Q. I am essential personnel and must report to work on June 18th.
A. Non-Exempt-essential personnel scheduled on June 18th are still required to work, and will earn an additional eight hours of pay at straight time, in lieu of using an administrative leave day.
Exempt essential personnel scheduled to work should record regular hours worked accordingly.
Q. If I had already scheduled leave for that day, may I use administrative leave instead of my accrued
leave?
A. Yes.
Q. May I save this day and use it another time?
A. The administrative leave day must be used on June 18, 2021
Q. How do I code my time sheet to reflect the administrative leave day?

ADMU leave code/8 hours leave- Regular Faculty & Staff, Librarians
ADMCE leave code/8 hours leave- Contingent II Exempt Staff
ADMCU leave code/8 hours leave- Contingent II Non-Exempt Staff and Contingent I Staff
Student Employees – students scheduled to work on Friday June 18th should record normal work hours on the time sheet and note the administrative leave hours in the comment section of the time sheet for that day.
Lecturers – record the REG leave code for any time worked and note the administrative leave hours in the comments section.
Regular Non-Exempt Essential Personnel- paid for hours worked & receive straight time Administrative Leave for scheduled work hours. Leave code ADMEW should be recorded on the time sheet, in the leave code section, for the Administrative Leave.
Q. When is my time sheet due?
A. Regular faculty & staff – the time sheets for the June 16th through June 29th pay period will be available on Wednesday, June 16th and are due on Tuesday, June 29th.
Contingent faculty, staff and student employees– the time sheets for the June 5th through June 18th pay period will be available on June 7th and are due on Thursday, June 17th.
