Biology’s Research & Creative Inquiry Forum Winners!

Undergraduate and Graduate students in the Department of Biological Sciences that presented at last month’s Research & Creative Inquiry Forum were judged by faculty in the department.  The winners are listed as follows:

Graduate Student Category Winners
1^st Place:  Justine Anne Guevarra- “Developing an aquatic plus maze to assess anxiety-like behavior in planarians”
2^nd Place:  Precious Udofe- “The Potential Role of Selenoprotein F on Tight Junction Proteins in an Animal Model of Inflammatory Colitis”
3^rd Place:  Zeguela Kamagate- “Effect of Sorghum Bicolor Extracts on Epigenetic Modifications in Colon Cancer”
