Black Masculinity (Re)Imagined workshop

The Counseling Center, Diverse Minds Peer Education Program, the Student Success Programs, and the Center for Student Diversity are co-sponsoring the Black Masculinity (Re)Imagined workshop titled “You Good Fam?”: Mental Health Peer Support Skills for Black Men & Masculine Individuals. This interactive workshop will be held on Zoom on Tue, April 20th, from 6-8 p.m. The workshop will be facilitated by Cydney Brown and Leroy Mitchell from BEAM (Black Emotional And Mental Health Collective) and will address the intersection of male socialization and mental health in Black community. Participants will learn skills to support their mental health and others in their own community.

 

The workshop is free and open to public. It is a Black-centered space though BIPOC folx and allies are welcome. Registration is open at https://tinyurl.com/BMRbyBEAM. Space is limited, please RSVP at your earliest convenience!
