Annual Performance Reviews – New changes

The annual performance review completion period for staff employees has been moved to May 31, 2021. As a result, the current performance reviews will cover the period from March 1, 2020 through May 31, 2021.

The timeline for training, preparation and individual performance discussions has been adjusted as follows;

Annual Review Process Cycle Timelines 2020 – 2021: 

  • Performance review period: March 1st 2020 – May 31st, 2021
  • Performance review virtual training sessions: April – May
  • June – Conduct individual performance review meetings, obtain signatures (via DocuSign) and submit for retention in employee file
  • July – Conduct individual performance review meetings, obtain signatures (via DocuSign) and submit for retention in employee file
  • July 30th – Deadline for all performance reviews completed and submitted

Employees Hired in 2020

If you have a direct report who was hired at TU in 2020, please note the following:

  • All staff employees who completed their probationary period on or before February 28th, 2021 will receive an annual review.
