West Village Garage adjustments for spring 2021
Parking in the West Village Garage has been adjusted to accommodate . Here’s what you need to know:
- Ground Level: Closed
The ground level of West Village Garage is closed for parking during the spring term to accommodate a COVID testing location. - Level 2: CFA Classes & Faculty/Staff Parking
The Center for Fine Arts is using part of the second level of the garage for outdoor classes this spring term. The designated area is closest to Towsontown Boulevard and is taped off to prevent vehicular access. For the safety of the students participating in class activities, please heed all signage and avoid parking in this area. The remainder of the second level will accommodate those with a faculty/staff parking permit, including RL permits. Accessible parking spaces will also be available on the second level near the elevators. If you purchase a regular visitor permit, please park on level 3, 4 or 5. - Levels 3, 4 & 5: Overflow Parking & Covid Test Parking
Modified enforcement, which allows all permit holders to park in Core and Resident spaces as well as Overflow areas, will continue through the spring semester. As such, unless spaces are marked for a specific use, levels 3, 4 and 5 will be available to all permit holders. Additionally, those coming to campus specifically to take a COVID test can park free for 30 minutes in the designated parking areas on level 3. If you are parking for longer than 30 minutes, please use the ParkMobile app or the paystation to purchase an hourly or daily permit and ensure you park in a space that isn’t restricted. Please read all signs prior to leaving your vehicle parked.
As a reminder, the roof of the garage will remain closed through the winter months.
For additional information about hourly or daily parking, please go to the Parking & Transportation Services website at towson.edu/parking or email upark@towson.edu.
