The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is performing maintenance on the university’s data center core network infrastructure this Sunday, Jan. 17, from 6 a.m. until noon.

Except for the campus building connectivity listed below, no other outages are expected during this time, however, some university services may be intermittently unavailable. OTS will make every effort to minimize any service interruptions.

During the maintenance window the following campus buildings will lose network connectivity, including wireless connection and VoIP phones, for about an hour:

  • Science Complex
  • 7400 York Road
  • Power Plant
  • Dowell Health building
  • Glen Esk
  • Paca house
  • Tubman house
  • Millennium Hall

When maintenance is complete, posts will be made to the OTS Alerts website http://alerts.towson.edu and twitter @OTSAlerts.

As a reminder, the Office of Technology Services’ maintenance window is every Sunday from 6 a.m. until noon. Faculty and users are advised to keep this maintenance window in mind when planning events, assignments and deadlines. If you have any questions about the outage, please contact OTS at 410-704-5151.
