Winter Break 2020 – Regular Non-Exempt Staff

Towson University will be closed for winter break from December 24, 2020 through January 1, 2021.  Holidays will pre-populate on the time sheet for December 24, 25, and 28, 2020 and January 1, 2021.

Staff who are in departments that observe non-traditional work hours and schedules or that perform essential functions, should discuss coverage with their supervisors.

Below is helpful information to assist you with completing your time sheet and a sample time sheet to use as a guide for the winter break.

  • Days on which work is performed should indicate actual hours worked.
  • Floating holidays are typically used for December 29, 30, and 31, 2020.
  • If floating holidays are not available, accrued comp time, annual leave, or personal leave should be used.
  • If accrued leave is not available and work is not performed, the day should be coded leave without pay (LWOPU).

If you have questions about completing your time sheet, please email finservehelp@towson.edu.  If you have questions about your leave, please email leavebenefits@towson.edu.

Time sheets for Pay Period Ending December 29, 2020 will be available starting December 17, 2020. Please complete and approve your time sheet before leaving on Thursday, December 24, 2020.

^Floating holidays. If the employee does not have floating holidays to cover this time and does not work, they must use accrued comp time, annual, personal, or leave without pay (LWOPU).

Time sheets for Pay Period Ending January 12, 2021 will be due on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
