Open Enrollment: Reminder about Qualifying Life Events during Open Enrollment
The Open Enrollment period for 2021 benefits runs until Friday, November 13 at 5:00 pm. Any faculty or staff member making changes to 2020 benefits due to a current qualifying life event, (e.g. birth of a child, marriage, loss of coverage, etc.), must finalize the life event in Workday before you can access or complete your Open Enrollment benefit election for 2021. No additional action will be required if you want your 2020 benefits to rollover to 2021. However, if you want to change your benefits, dependents, or initiate a flexible spending account for 2021, you must also complete an Open Enrollment event for 2021 following the completion of changes to your 2020 benefit elections.
