Reminder: Title IX training is overdue
All TU staff and faculty who have not already completed both modules of the Title IX training in 2020 should have recently received a link from our compliance training vendor, SafeColleges, with information to access these 2 training modules. Both modules are required training for all university employees. Our goal with this training is to ensure that our campus community is aware of reporting options and prevention strategies as it pertains to sexual violence and harassment on our campus.
Incomplete training puts Towson University at risk of not being in compliance with Federal laws and guidance from the Department of Education, in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C.A. §1681. We ask that all faculty and staff complete this training no later than the deadline, October 14th. Please note, employees who completed the modules this spring do NOT need to retake it this year.
