Now available: training and development opportunities in October
The Office of Human Resources has compiled several opportunities for training and development during the month of October. Sessions include:
- Developing your career in the COVID-19 Environment: Join OHR for a workshop to learn how to create a career plan for yourself, define your path, and explore development resources available to help you grow in your role or prepare for your next one.
- 31st Annual Women’s Conference (Hosted by USM Women’s Forum): This half-day conference on October 23rd focuses on addressing the two current pandemics of COVID-19 and racial and social injustices.
- Supervisor training – Engaging Hybrid or Remote Teams: This OHR workshop will share some best practices for keeping the employees who report to you engaged and connected with their work and with each other.
- National Health Education Week: The USM is coming together the week of October 19th-23rd to provide opportunities for employees to attend webinars, meet-ups, and other online events focused on providing health and wellness education. Topics include exercise, mental health, effective management, coping with uncertainty, gratitude, and more.
