This interactive presentation, held on Thursday, Oct 22nd from 2 to 3:30 PM, will examine how experiences of childhood sexual abuse and family violence create pathways for girls into the juvenile justice system.
Participants will explore racial disparities and identify strategies to develop survivor-centered, culturally competent, trauma-informed approaches to address the needs of vulnerable girls and prevent them from experiencing the Abuse to Prison Pipeline.
