Finding technology and support at TU: 9 things students need to know
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) welcomes you to the fall semester! Be sure to save these TU technology-related links for future reference:
- Student Computing Services (SCS) provides technology resources and support. This includes Service Desks, Computer Labs, ResNet support, Multimedia support, 3D printing, VR, equipment loans, and studios. You can also get laptop software issues fixed. Call 410-704-5151, text 410-324-7271. Visit the SCS webpage to see hours, lab computer availability in real time, and all support options including starting a chat.
- Be prepared for remote learning: make sure you know about TU’s student technology resources and how to access them.
- Need to print? Use one of the 24 on-campus wēpa kiosks. See kiosk availability and learn how to print from your phone, laptop, USB, Google Drive and OneDrive accounts, or Blackboard course at towson.edu/wepa. Try out the new touchless printing feature using the wepa app.
- TU Blackboard support is available on campus: towson.edu/blackboard or call us at 410-704-5151.
- Bookmark Student Technology Orientation, which lists resources for students. Get info on using NetIDs, accessing email, registration and records, logging into courses in Blackboard, storing files, accessing Wi-Fi, using OneCard and more technology topics important to student life at TU.

- Get free or discounted software. Consider installing and/or testing prior to the start of classes.
