Here’s how to access TU’s Zoom account and be prepared for that first meeting

Before joining a TU Zoom meeting for the first timebe sure to activate your TU Zoom account: visit zoom.towson.edu and click the Sign In button. Please do this even if you already have a personal, departmental or paid pro Zoom account. 

If you’re prompted to sign in anytime after activating your account, always click the Sign in with SSO button and enter towson-edu for the domain. DO NOT enter your email and password under Sign In.

OTS Training is offering Zoom sessions that will cover topics like how to download the desktop app, add Zoom to Outlook, schedule a meeting, share resources, use the polling feature, and create breakout groups. There are two ways to join: 

  • Register through OTS TrainingThe link to join will be emailed to you.  
  • Join through the Blackboard Community (Faculty Resources for Remote Teaching) and click the Zoom Pop Ups link in the left navigation.
