Remote desktop, VPN, and Office 365 workshop TODAY for faculty and staff
The Office of Human Resources and OTS continue to offer workshops to help faculty and staff work remotely. We are currently offering registration for 2 workshops:
Remote Technology Tools: There are many technologies available here at TU that are helpful for connecting, accessing and storing data while working remotely. Because of this, it can be tricky to determine when to use which one. In this session, you will learn about three of these technologies: remote desktop, virtual private network (VPN), and Office 365. You will not only gain a better understanding of when to use which technology but learn some tips to effectively and efficiently use them as well. This workshop will be held on Thursday, May 28th from 11am-12pm, and on Tuesday, June 2nd from 2-3pm.

Managing Remotely: The Office of Human Resources is conducting a 1 hour workshop for managers who are currently supervising remote staff. This workshop will offer information and resources that can help address issues and concerns you have been dealing with since the recent transition. There will be time for questions, discussion, and collaboration between managers. This workshop will be held on Friday, May 29th from 11am-12pm.
