Global Business Logistics in Panama – Study Abroad in 2021
International travel may be uncertain now, but the Study Abroad Office is looking ahead to next academic year and all of our exciting programs including our brand new program Global Business Logistics in Panama.
Learn about the transfer of goods between the Atlantic and Pacific regions and explore the complex strategic role Panama plays in the global supply chain. Gain an understanding of the risks and benefits of Panama as a key transition point in international trade. Based in cosmopolitan Panama City, the program includes a visit to the Panama Canal and the Colon Free Trade Zone. Participants may elect to earn credit for one of the following courses:
- MNGT 494 Study Abroad in Management (3 credits)
- MKTG 494 Marketing Study Abroad (3 credits)
- EBTM 475 Special Topics in Project Management and Business Analysis (3 credits)
- EBTM 710 Logistics and Distribution (3 credits; graduate students only)
