THE REDOUBTABLE DONS Spring Schedule POSTPONED
POSTPONED
The Dons, now in their 30th year, are a gathering of TU faculty, staff and retirees who share scholarly, creative, and cultural interests with colleagues across the university. From accounting to zoology, everyone is welcome, for the Dons aim to make our large campus smaller and its collegiality stronger.
Aimed at members of the university community whose curiosity carries them beyond the perimeter of their specialization, talks to the Dons are learned but not arcane, brisk but not rushed, and clear without being over simple.
All presentations begin at 3:30 on the following Thursdays at TU’s historic Auburn House.
April 30
Melissa Groves, Economics
“Naturalization, Mexican Immigration, and U.S. Policy”
May 7
Lea Ramsdell, Foreign Languages
“Language Revitalization through Music in Two Afro-descendant Communities
of Latin America”
Seating is limited to 25. Please RSVP to promotionsandevents@towson.edu at least three days before the event, so that we can arrange seating and refreshments.
Parking is available in Lot 21. Those without a TU permit will need to purchase a code at the visitor kiosk in front of the Towson Center. An ADA accessible entrance is located on the rear patio of the Auburn House.
For more information, a list of previous talks, or to volunteer a presentation,
