Struggling to find balance between working remotely and your personal life? Join OHR to discuss strategies for success.

Faculty and staff throughout TU (and throughout the world!) are facing new and unexpected challenges with suddenly working from home. Making this transition can be stressful, especially while dealing with stress and anxiety around staying safe and healthy, caring for children and family during the workday, and little time to prepare for the change. The Office of Human Resources is putting together a series of virtual learning and discussion sessions around a variety of topics related to working remotely and dealing with life during a global pandemic. Our intention is to create a space for connection, collaboration, and growth during this unusual period of work.

Due to the success of last week’s work/life balance discussions, OHR has decided to add 2 more sessions addressing this topic.  All faculty and staff who have not already attended are encouraged to join. The sessions are 1 hour long, and will include some guidance around work/life balance, as well as plenty of time for discussion and interaction with others throughout the university community. Sessions will be held at 11am on Tuesday, April 14th and at 2pm on Thursday, April 16th.

Please register for the session by visiting https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050d49afaf2fa4f49-worklife. Registrants will be contacted with WebEx meeting information prior to the workshop.

Contact Jill Rice (jrice@towson.edu) with any questions about the session.
