Are you catching enough Zzz’s?
With everything going on, getting sleep seems like the least of your worries, right? Well actually, lack of quality sleep can have a negative impact on your mental and physical wellness as well as your academic performance. If you’re not getting good sleep, here are a few tips to help you out:
- Wake up and go to bed around the same time every day (yes, even on the weekends)
- Keep the room you sleep in dark and quiet (or wear eye masks and ear plugs, if you need to)
- Keep the bedroom temperature between 65˚-70˚ F
- Practice deep breathing or other relaxation techniques
- Exercise regularly, even 10 minutes of light exercise daily can improve sleep
