Parking & Transportation Recommendations Open Forums March 24th & 25th

As communicated earlier in the semester, Towson University Parking & Transportation Services has engaged design and planning expert Kimley-Horn to review our parking and transportation programs.  This effort will help to ensure the campus maximizes the efficient use of its parking assets and shuttle services while maintaining an optimal parking pricing strategy.

Over the past few months, Kimley-Horn has gathered and reviewed campus feedback, data, and other information in order to develop recommendations for possible changes to the parking & transportation programs.  As a next step, Kimley-Horn will hold Open Forums and meet with various stakeholder groups to present recommendations and provide an opportunity for additional feedback from the campus community.

  • 1st Forum: Tuesday, March 24 from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Administration Building room 424
  • 2nd Forum: Wednesday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to noon, Administration Building room 424

We encourage the campus community to participate in the open forums to provide additional feedback on parking and transportation and on the recommendations presented by the consultant.

Kimley-Horn will compile input regarding their recommendations and make a final presentation to the President’s Council mid-April.  The University expects to update the campus regarding any changes to the Parking & Transportation programs in late April or early May.  Please monitor the TU Today for updates.
