Parking Forum TODAY!
Towson University Parking & Transportation Services has engaged design and planning experts Kimley-Horn to improve the parking and transportation experience for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Kimley-Horn will develop a parking and shuttle system management plan that will improve the assignment of parking spaces, maximize the efficiency of our existing parking assets, ensure efficient shuttle services, and develop a parking pricing strategy.
We are gathering feedback to inform our strategy via a 10-minute survey and a series of campus forums. The first forum will be today, Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon in West Village Commons 305. The second forum will be tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Administration Building 424.
Participation in this process will influence future parking and transportation plans, provide efficient services and equitable access to resources, while continuing to be an environmental steward and green campus.
If changes in our parking and shuttle system are warranted, we hope to start implementing these improvements in the fall of this year.
