Are you interested in studying abroad in Greece?
Yiasou (Hello)! Are you interested in studying abroad this summer? Have you thought about studying abroad in Greece? If so, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
A faculty-led study abroad trip to Greece is being planned for this summer. This opportunity has been scheduled from June 11 – 24, 2020. During this experience, a faculty member and Greek-speaking representative will be available and present during the duration of the trip. The hotels selected will all be centrally located. Breakfast will be provided as well as group welcome and farewell dinners.
Experiences and opportunities planned include:
- Guided tour of Athens, Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum
- Visit to Hellenic American University
- Full-day guided excursion to Delphi, Temple of Apollo, ruins of the ancient sanctuary and oracle, and exploration of the village of Arachova
- Visit to a local Greek church
- Travel to Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza, Attica, Cape Sounion
- Visit to the Temple of Poseidon
- Visit to a local children’s summer camp
- Participation in a Greek Cooking Class
- Ride on the Flying Dolphin for a visit to the island of Hydra
- Exploration of the island of Hydra at your leisure
