Black and Pink Holiday Card Making Party – Join us NEXT WEEK to make holiday cards for incarcerated individuals!
The holidays can be a challenging and lonely time when you are away from loved ones. Join us for a Black and Pink Holiday Card Making Party on Tuesday, December 3rd in the University Union, Room 313 from 12:30-2:00 PM to decorate holiday cards for incarcerated LGBTQ+ and HIV+ individuals. Card supplies will be provided, and snacks will be served! Invite your friends!
Black and Pink’s mission is to abolish the criminal punishment system and to liberate LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV who are affected by the system, through advocacy, support, and organizing. For nearly 15 years, they have fought to make visible the horrific violence of the prison industrial complex and ultimately build a world without prisons.
