‘Can’ Your Citation Food Drive to Benefit TU’s Food Share Program
The ‘Can’ Your Citation food drive is back for the 2019 holiday season. Beginning Monday, Nov. 18, Parking & Transportation Services will begin collecting canned goods, nonperishable items and toiletries to reduce or waive citations. Benefiting TU’s Food Share program, students, faculty and staff helped collect over 2,600 items during last year’s drive.
Donations should be brought to the Parking & Transportation Services Office, located on the lower level of Union Garage. Please be advised, only one citation can be reduced or waived during the food drive. Donors are welcome to give to the food drive, whether they have outstanding citations or not. Learn more about acceptable donations at www.towson.edu/parking.
Qualifying citations must have an issue date between Oct. 1, 2019 and Dec. 11, 2019 and must not be under appeal. Handicap, fire lane and altered permit citations are not eligible for consideration. If you have further questions about the ‘Can’ Your Citation Food Drive, please contact the office at upark@towson.edu or 410-704-PARK (7275).
