Join us in Celebrating the Work of Kanji Takeno (and Supporting a Good Cause)
In honor of Kanji Takeno’s 23-year contribution to the image of Towson University, a gallery exhibition spanning his tenure will be on display in the West Village Commons 3rd floor lobby from November 19 through the end of the year.
An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, November 19 from 3-6 p.m. Please join us to appreciate some fine photography and thank Kanji for the 23 years of creativity he has given Towson University. While you’re at the event (or right now!) you can honor Kanji by making a gift to a fund that is dear to him — the Student Emergency and Food Insecurity Support Fund, which addresses the immediate needs of students experiencing food insecurity or other emergencies preventing them from pursuing their TU education. Contributions made in Kanji’s honor can be made at towson.edu/CelebratingKanjiTakeno.
We look forward to seeing you at the opening! Light refreshments will be served, so if you plan to attend, RSVP at CreativeServices@towson.edu by November 8.
