Women in Leadership Conference – Explore a variety of career paths!
The Women in Leadership (WIL) Conference increases the leadership capacity of women students and prepares them for success in the workplace. Students participate in a full-day conference with workshops presented by alumnae, local businesswomen and Towson faculty/staff.
Join us on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 9am-3:30pm for this year’s WIL conference at the University Union. Our Fall 2019 theme is ‘The Personal is Political.’
Some key objectives for our attendees include:
- Network with successful women including TU alumnae and community leaders.
- Gain an understanding of some of the issues that women face in various career paths
- Explore a variety of career paths, especially ones where women are underrepresented or have difficulty obtaining leadership positions.
- Learn essential career development skills such as resume development, interview strategies, and salary negotiation.
Registration:
Registration is free and open to all students, but all participants must register online at bit.ly/WIL2019RSVP.
