Attention Class of 2019: Need a transcript?
Are you ready to move on to the next part of your life? After graduation you may need an official copy of your transcript. Here is some information that will help you request it from your Student Center.
Q: How do I access & request an official paper/electronic transcript?
- Select “My TU” at the top of Towson’s home page
- Click “Towson Online Services/People Soft”
- Select “Self Service”
- Select “Student Center”
- Under the “Academics” tab, click on the “other academic” drop down menu
- Select “Transcript: Request Official”

Free Transcript that we mail out the next business day after you request it from TU.
_ EDI Course Feed (academic purposes only)
Only request if the school asks for this type of transcript.
_ Parchment Electronic Transcript ($8 per transcript)
Fastest method: Recipients receive it within 3 days.
TIPS:
- Run an unofficial transcript first to verify that the degree and Latin Honors are posted.
- Allow approximately 2-4 weeks after the end of the semester for degrees to post on the transcript.
- Latin Honors will appear on the transcript by the end of June where applicable.
Q: What will block the release of transcripts?
Account holds (judicial/financial) will block the release of official transcripts.
Q: How long do I have access to my transcript via my Student Center after I graduate from TU?
Access to your Student Center is available for 18 months after graduation. After 18 months, you may request an official copy of your transcript via Parchment Exchange.
