101 YORK Project Update
During this current phase of construction, the need to utilize the sidewalk in front of the 101 YORK project site for construction activity continues. Beginning the week of May 6th, 2019, mobilization will begin to install a protected pedestrian pathway in the southbound lane of York Road in front of the 101 YORK project site. This pathway will consist of concrete barriers with fencing and lighting, and will encompass the same area which has been blocked with cones. No additional area will be blocked. In this way, pedestrians will be able to utilize the west side of York Road instead of being diverted to the east side of York Road. We anticipate this pathway will remain for approximately the following 9 months. We will continue to communicate any changes that may affect traffic or pedestrian patterns and thank you for your patience.
