Welcome to Visiting International Students
The Office of International Initiatives is pleased to welcome a group of 14 students from National Taichung University of Education in Taiwan for the next two weeks. They are accompanied by Dr. Yueh-Nu Hung, who was a Fulbright scholar here at TU last year. Yesterday Dean Laurie Mullen, Dr. Saleha Suleman, and Dr. Robert Blake welcomed the group to campus.
During their time here, the students will attend lectures on contemporary educational theory topics and visit elementary schools in the area to develop cross-cultural understanding and communicative abilities, as well as increase their understanding of elementary education outside of Taiwan.
