Baltimore Regional Study Abroad Re-Entry Conference

Are you a recent study abroad returnee? The Study Abroad Office would like to invite you to an exciting upcoming event!

Baltimore Regional Re-entry Conference

The Baltimore Regional Re-entry Conference is designed to offer study and intern abroad returnees the opportunity to reflect on their international experiences, connect with other study abroad alumni, learn how to market international experiences on resumes and in cover letters, and gain important skills for their future career and academic paths.

Join us on Saturday, February 9, 2019! The event will be held at Towson University’s South Campus Pavilion. Please register for this conference through EventBrite. The cost for students is $15 and includes light breakfast and lunch. Registration at the door will be $20.

Conference highlights include:

  • Meeting other recent study abroad returnees from all over Maryland
  • Hearing from dynamic and motivating keynote speakers, the founders of Black & Abroad
  • Learning how to talk about your newly acquired global skills in a job interview
  • Receive feedback on your resume or cover letter
  • Discovering how you can continue your international experiences through work, graduate school, or volunteering abroad after graduation
  • Staying connected to and sharing stories about your study abroad experience

This is a great opportunity to network with other students and professionals. We ask that you dress in business casual attire and bring several copies of your resume to participate in the resume review. Submit your resume for review by February 4 to studyabroad@towson.edu to be entered to win a raffle prize!
